Worker falls to death in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines — A 37-year-old man reportedly fell to his death while working at a construction site at the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) in Quezon City over the weekend.

Police identified the fatality as Danilo Maalala, who fell from the second floor of a building being constructed inside the ADMU campus in Barangay Loyola Heights at around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Maalala died while undergoing treatment at the Quezon Memorial Medical Center.
