Patay ang isang guwardiya matapos siyang tamaan ng naputol na crane hook, Miyerkoles sa Cebu City.
Dead on the spot si Junrel Tenebroso matapos mabagsakan ng naputol na crane hook mula sa ika-14 na palapag ng isang construction site sa IT Park sa Cebu City.
Ayon kay SPO2 Winston Ybanez, Cebu City homicide investigator, nawalan ng kontrol ang crane operator kaya naputol ang kable at nahulog ang crane hook na tumama sa gwardiya sa baba.
Nagkakarga ng steel pipes ang crane nang mahulog ang hook.
Walang nakitang foul play ang awtoridad sa nangyari pero hinuli pa rin ang operator ng crane na si Demetrio Cornesio.
Humingi naman ng tawad si Cornesio habang ipinapaliwanag na aksidente ang nangyari.
Wala pang desisyon ang pamilya ng biktima kung magsasampa sila ng kaso laban sa crane operator.
Una nang sinabi ng ahensiya na pinagtatrabahuan ng biktima na magbibigay sila ng tulong pinansyal sa naulilang pamilya.
