MANILA—Four minors were rescued in Pateros on Friday after a mother allegedly subjected her child and her neighbors’ children to a live online sex show catering to foreign pedophiles.

The Anti Trafficking in Persons Division of the PNP Women and Children Protection Center arrested a 38-year-old woman.

The suspect’s child was 8, while her neighbors’ children were 12, 14 and 16.

Senior Supt. Villamor Tuliao, chief of the AWCPC Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division, said his division conducted surveillance of the suspect for three months.

The suspect also performed on a porn website, authorities said.

“ ‘Yung subject naka-engage sa undercover since June 2018,” he said. “Ini-engage niya ang mga anak niya to perform sexual act.”

The suspect brought her neighbors’ children to one room allegedly without their parents’ knowledge.

Tuliao said the price paid per online show ranged from P1,000 to P5,000, depending on the client’s preference.

The suspect said she needed money to pay her electricity bills.

“Nagkwento po ako sa kaniya na bayaran ko ng kuryente. Ngayon po nanghingi ako sa kanya ng P1,400,” she said.

“Sabi niya, how much all them daw. Kung magkano daw yung apat kong anak . . . Hindi ko naman po totally na binebenta ko po anak ko, pinakita ko lang naman po,” she added.

Tuliao said the suspect has been flagged for a long time now because she had 40 Paypal accounts.

“Nagtataka kami, ang daming Paypal account, subject for investigation,” he said.

The suspect will be charged for child abuse, and violation of the expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012 and Cybercrime Prevention Act.

All 4 minors are now under the care of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
