Seventeen workers were killed

Seventeen workers were killed, eleven workers were injured and 23 missing in ten serious workplace incidents in the Philippines in January – April 2019 – an NTUC Philippines compilation of media reports show.

Most of those killed were in Mining (five) and Construction (four).

Four workers died, eight were injured and 20 were missing from the earthquake-hit Chuzon supermarket in Pampanga.
