MANILA, Philippines — Nine party-lists may secure more than one seat in the next Congress, according to latest survey conducted by Pulse Asia.

The survey, conducted from May 3 to 6 with the results released Saturday, showed nine party-lists obtaining more than the two percent of votes needed to secure at least one congressional seat.

Based on the results, three party-lists – ACT-CIS (10.6 percent), Ako Bicol (6.72 percent) and Bayan Muna (6.07 percent) – could receive the maximum three seats allowed by law for each organization.

Meanwhile, the six others that obtained more than two percent of votes may receive two seats each.

These are Cibac (3.68 percent), 1-PACMAN (3.5 percent), Senior Citizens (2.77 percent), Ang Probinsyano (2.72 percent), An Waray (2.43 percent) and Magsasaka (2.2 percent).

Following the procedures set by the Supreme Court on assignment of seats for party-lists, Pulse Asia said another 33 party-lists that did not reach the two percent threshold could get one seat each.

These include Tingog Sinirangan, Probinsyano Ako, ABAMIN, Buhay, Kalinga, BHW, Gabriela, A Teacher, PBA, Ako Bisaya, CWS, LPGMA, Kabayan, COOP-NATCO, AMIN, TUCP, Manila Teachers and Abang Lingkod.
