.@UNFPA estimates a 6 month lockdown will mean 47 million women w.o. contraception, 7 million unintended pregnancies, 31 million new cases of gender-based violence. Over 10 yrs, that means 13 million more child marriages & 2 million more cases of female genital mutilation.
