Internet cafe industry group formed

A group of internet cafe owners are organiizing Icafe Pilipinas, a national industry association.

The group says it hope to provide a forum in which vital issues affecting the operations of Internet could be addressed.

Internet cafes can contribute to community development and can improve the lives of Filipinos through information technology, the group’s Web site says, adding that there are opportunities for Internet cafe owners to participate through education and training.
