TUCP condoles with the nation with the passing-away of Cardinal Sin

The Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) today expressed deep sadness over the passing away of Cardinal Sin.

The TUCP said that the demise of Cardinal Sin is a great loss to the country, especially coming at a time when the country is in a deep political crisis.

“The Cardinal’s wise counsel will be sorely missed by the nation”, TUCP said.

TUCP also paid tribute to the role played by the Cardinal in restoring and defending democracy in the country during EDSA 1 and 2.

“The Cardinal for so many decades served as a bedrock for the aspirations of the Filipinos for good government and people empowerment”, said the TUCP.
