TUCP releases proposed wage increases across the country

The Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) today released the complete set of its computation of needed wage adjustments in all regions of the country.

TUCP said that bigger amounts are needed in several regions to cover for the serious erosion in the purchasing capacities of workers and to enable minimum wage rates in the provinces to approximate that of the NCR that traditionally have higher wage rates.

The TUCP added that it has instructed its regional offices and chapters to file the necessary petitions.
